Handmade by Juana. The local sheep's wool is hand washed and brushed, hand spun into threads and hand woven using a pedal loom. Woven traditional Mayan patterns represent the waves and the wind that occur on Lake Atitlán. Time to handcraft, 5 weeks.

Wool blankets are highly durable, comfortable in cold climates and breathable in warmer climates, naturally hypoallergenic so great for those with allergies or sensitive skin, moisture resistant, dust mite resistant, fire-resistant and get softer and softer with each wash.

Care:  Dry clean or hand wash in cold water with a gentle solution, lay flat or hang out to dry.
