We are the Maaks! A California-based family that shares a deep love for the ocean and travel. We travel to learn, to discover, to experience. We have come across villages of farmers, spinners, dyers, and weavers, having the pleasure of meeting highly skilled artisans. These individuals have been practicing a lifetime to master their craft in multi-generational family homes filled with rich traditions. Inspired by our journeys, we have created a curation of hand-picked, handmade textiles from the artisans we’ve met along the way.
