This collection is handmade by highly skilled artisans in their home and workshop in Teotitlan de Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico. Each item is made from local sheep’s wool, lana, which has been hand cleaned with a soapy mixture of root bark and water, separated, spun into threads and then handwoven using a pedal loom. The family textiles combine the Zapotec traditions of their village and modern elements creating unique patterns.
