Bolsas Torzadas, twisted bags, handmade by the women in San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala. The handspun cotton thread is naturally dyed using herbs, plants, roots, and the cochineal insect. Using a backstrap loom, the artisan weaves beautiful traditional designs using jaspe, or ikat, techniques. These ethically-made, functional and super stylish bags are great to use for the market, the beach or simply to jazz-up an afternoon outfit!

Ethically handmade throws created in a woman’s co-operative in the surrounding villages of majestic Lake Atitlán. This beautiful collection of intricate patterned textiles is handwoven using a backstrap loom and hand spun threads of cotton and silk which are naturally dyed using herbs, plants, the small cochineal bug and moonlight. This machine washable collection is multi-functional being used as bed throws, table runners, scarves, or simply as fine art!

In the mountainous highlands of Guatemala, low temperatures and high altitude favor the quality of wool’s durability and warmth. Local sheep's wool in natural colors of beige, light brown, chestnut brown and black are used to create these wonderfully plush blankets. The wool is hand washed with a root bark and water, hand brushed to rid of natural debris, hand spun into threads, handwoven using a pedal loom, weaving traditional patterns of the local Mayan community. These handmade, thick, cozy blankets are perfect for keeping warm on a cold evening...snuggle up and enjoy!

Inspired by rich traditions and the stunning geography of Lake Atitlán, the local women artisans in the village of San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala handcrafted this exquisite collection of blankets. The weavers use a backstrap loom and hand-spun cotton thread, often combined with a hand-spun silk thread.  The vibrant colors are made through natural dye processes using herbs, plants, insects and moonlight creating the earthy palettes of this machine washable collection. Traditional symbols of the Mayan community are intricately handwoven into the patterns of these lovely blankets.

This collection is handmade by highly skilled artisans in their home and workshop in Teotitlan de Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico. Each item is made from local sheep’s wool, lana, which has been hand cleaned with a soapy mixture of root bark and water, separated, spun into threads and then handwoven using a pedal loom. The family textiles combine the Zapotec traditions of their village and modern elements creating unique patterns. The Lana Lounge collection is great for mix-and-match home décor due to its neutral colors and simple modern designs.

Our home linen collections are handcrafted by Oaxacan artisans in Mitla, a Zapotec village famous for its important historical archeological ruins and beautiful textiles and the artistic village of Teotilan de Valle, known for its high quality woven goods. A pedal loom is used to handcraft these unique linens. Being multi-functional, they can be used as lovely cloth napkins, placemats, tea towels and in general home décor.

These beautiful handwoven robes, túnicas, are created in a woman’s cooperative in the rural village of San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala. The artisan delicately weaves this intricate robe using a backstrap loom. Natural dyes are made from plants, herbs and proper harvesting times dependent upon the moonlight. Harvesting on the full moon creates more vibrant colors while harvesting on the new moon produces softer hues. Nature is forever awe-inspiring!
