Quimonos
These ethically made robes are created in a woman’s cooperative in the surrounding villages of Guatemala’s beautiful Lake Atitlán. The artisans use a backstrap loom to weave beautiful traditional designs with jaspe, or ikat, techniques. The vibrant colors are created naturally using herbs, plants, the cochineal bug and the moonlight. Thanks Mother Nature!
